 Taking our temperature
Enviro-weather, a statewide, high-tech weather-monitoring network recently added a station in Cass County, which is hosted by the Edward Lowe Foundation at its Big Rock Valley headquarters. Supporting agricultural decision-making, 12 sensors collect information on wind speed and direction, air temperature, humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, leaf wetness, soil moisture and soil temperature at two depths. See our press release for the story. Click here for the latest Cass County weather.

 A successful launch
CEO Advisors Network has launched their first roundtable! As the PeerSpectives Roundtable System spreads it's wings around the country, an increasing number of entrepreneurs and not-for-profit leaders are discovering the power of the roundtable system to release the group genius. Learn more about how to start your table.

 Growing YourEconomy
YourEconomy has added a growth section that follows the births, deaths, expansions, contractions, move-ins and move-outs of U.S. establishments. The new data shows that expanding companies have a greater positive influence on net new jobs than new or relocated companies. See the press release to learn more.

What people are saying about us
"The ESO2 event was fabulous—it exceeded all my expectations. I thought the retreat would be more about the foundation, but instead it focused on our organizations, our communities, and our best practices, which was a pleasant surprise. And the informal dialogue was just as valuable as the formal dialogue."

Angie Godwin, president
The Area Development Partnership
Hattiesburg, Miss.
